A native of Seattle I attended Queen Anne High School,Seattle Pacific College (University) and graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Business Administration.  After school, I joined the Coast Guard and attended Officers Candidate School and left active duty with the rank of Lieutenant.  While in the Coast Guard, I met the 2 loves of my life.  I was Baptised in 1971 am married Jeanette 2 months later.  My work career emphasised coordinating export containerized shipments from the U.S. to the orient and Southeast Asia.  I have been a longtime member of Volunteer Park Church and was active in the purchase of Cypress School.  Both my children attended Cypress.  I have served on the School Board at various times and am currently the Facility Manager.
